Job summary

Herzog Transit Services, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Manager of Training & Compliance.

You will develop, schedule, and deliver comprehensive training for commuter rail employees, including new hire and annual rules training, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety messaging. This role requires evaluating training effectiveness, leading trainer development, and collaborating with the Safety Department and other teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in education, business, or closely related field preferred (can be substituted with 5 years passenger railroad experience).
• Experience with FRA rules and GCOR preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suite for training delivery and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and deliver training and development programs for Commuter Rail employees, including new hire and annual rules training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and modify programs as needed; develop materials with SME input.
• Collaborate with safety and operations to ensure safety messaging and regulatory compliance.
• Lead trainer development and coaching programs; maintain knowledge of continuous improvement principles.
