Job summary

Railserve is hiring an experienced, safety-focused Project Manager to oversee rail construction and maintenance projects across active customer sites. This full-time leadership role handles project execution, customer coordination, and workforce planning, with travel to project sites required.

You will manage budgeting, pricing, and cost tracking while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• College degree in Building and Construction Technology or equivalent construction management experience preferred.
• Experience in railroad construction, maintenance, or industrial operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Walk railroad tracks to identify deficiencies and prepare project proposals and pricing recommendations.
• Read and analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop professional customer responses.
• Oversee project operations to ensure customer requirements and project expectations are met.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and vendors across multiple job sites.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high levels of service and operational support.
• Support pricing analysis, budgeting, cost tracking, and operational forecasting.
• Lead field crews to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
