Job summary

Railserve is hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee rail construction and maintenance projects across active customer sites in the United States. This full-time leadership role focuses on project execution, customer coordination, operational oversight, and a strong safety culture.

You will be responsible for workforce planning, scheduling, budgeting, pricing support, and maintaining robust customer relationships while ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Building and Construction Technology or equivalent construction management experience.
  • Experience in railroad construction, maintenance, or industrial operations preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Walk railroad tracks to identify deficiencies and prepare project proposals and pricing recommendations.
  • Read and analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop professional customer responses.
  • Oversee project operations to ensure customer requirements and project expectations are met.
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and vendors across multiple job sites.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high levels of service and operational support.
  • Support pricing analysis, budgeting, cost tracking, and operational forecasting.
  • Monitor payroll, fuel, equipment, and project costs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, purchase orders, and material deliveries to job sites.
