Job summary

Railserve is hiring an experienced, safety-focused Project Manager to oversee rail construction and maintenance projects across active customer sites. This full-time leadership role centers on project execution, customer coordination, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

You will manage scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and field operations while fostering relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• College degree in Building and Construction Technology or equivalent construction management experience preferred.
• Experience in railroad construction, maintenance, or industrial operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and safety procedures.
• Experience preparing proposals, reports, and customer correspondence.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and project coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rail construction and maintenance projects while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Lead workforce planning, project scheduling, inventory management, and pricing support.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure safety culture on site.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and vendors across multiple sites.
• Monitor payroll, fuel, equipment, and project costs for operational efficiency.
• Assist in workforce planning and crew scheduling to balance skilled coverage.
• Prepare project proposals, pricing recommendations, and administrative reporting.
