Job summary

Railserve is seeking a Project Manager & Estimating professional to oversee rail construction and maintenance projects across active customer sites in Kansas. This full-time role requires coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and vendors while ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

You will manage workforce planning, project scheduling, budgeting, and pricing analysis, with strong emphasis on customer relations and compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• College degree in Building and Construction Technology or equivalent construction management experience preferred.
• Experience in railroad construction, maintenance, or industrial operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rail construction and maintenance projects at customer sites.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time execution.
• Lead workforce planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Read blueprints and technical documents; prepare proposals and pricing.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure safety compliance across sites.
• Monitor project costs, logistics, and field performance; report on progress.
