Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Able to work safely in varied weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information via oral and written means and monitor daily work; operate hand brakes and assist with air hoses.
• Switch tracks by operating switches and derails; verify alignment of switch points.
• Inspections of trains and equipment per federal regulations and report conditions.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment with exposure to extreme weather, loud noises, and heavy machinery.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE; participate in safety conversations.
