The role focuses on guiding railcar switching, track maintenance, transloading, and equipment management, while building strong customer relationships and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory experience in rail operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by training employees on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance while maintaining certifications and safety standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, identifying high performers for advancement.
• Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing and skill coverage across shifts.
• Coordinate daily operations to meet customer expectations and contract requirements.
• Oversee cost management including payroll, fuel, and equipment expenses.
