Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in fleet/transportation with strong customer service.
• Experience in transit operations is required.
• Experience working in a multi-union environment.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Must complete rail operations familiarization within 6 months.
• Maintain current Rail Safety or Train Operating Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors staff on work assignments and procedures.
• Investigates violations of rules and procedures; conducts employee interviews.
• Manages staff to ensure safe, high-quality customer service and addresses emergencies.
• Communicates alternate routes and coordinates with management for staffing needs.
• Handles employee grievances and responds to union questions.
