Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years in bus operations/management or related leadership role.
3+ years in business process experience.
Experience with conflict resolution and customer service.
Must possess valid driver’s license and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

Reduce absenteeism by interviewing staff on return from absence and authorize return to work.
Interview employees after policy violations or accidents and after customer/employee complaints.
Determine actions within authority and union guidelines, up to discharge recommendations.
Maintain transportation personnel database for interviewing and HR processes.
Supervise staff and counsel on assignments, performance, and procedures.
Handle grievances with the union and prepare first-level responses.
Ensure safe, on-time operations and manage delays with alternate routes and shuttles.
Coordinate service with events and communicate with customers in the field.
