Job summary

CN is seeking a Manager, Mechanical Performance Centre to lead a team of Mechanical Remote Health Service Advisors and Rail Traffic Control mechanics. You will oversee a fleet of locomotives and cars, monitor performance, and ensure safe, efficient production schedules.

The role requires coordinating with shop leaders, managing maintenance events, and aligning safety and technology-driven strategies. A 24/7 on-call role with travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Railway environment experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.
• Experience in transportation control center or logistics assets is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Remote Health Service Advisor and RTC Mechanics desks.
• Oversee locomotives and rail cars with online monitoring and maintenance events.
• Execute production plans to reduce dwell and increase availability.
• Drive maintenance planning and fleet-based programs.
• Develop the team and drive efficiencies in mechanical resources.
