Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a motivated Rail Loading Technician to join our warehouse team. You will operate forklifts to load products onto trailers and rail cars, ensuring timely shipments and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting inventory, processing bills of lading, and performing cycle counts. Candidates should have 2–3 years in manufacturing/warehouse work and be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a hot or cold environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely load trailers and rail cars.
• Inspect incoming inventory and identify product defects.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Process bills of lading and pick tickets.
• Perform cycle counts and receive inbound products.
• Bag products for rail car deliveries.
• Maintain equipment and report any defects.
• Participate in safety programs, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
