Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Loader, Non-Formula for our warehouse operations. You will transport items into trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks, prepare pallets for shipping, and ensure loads are secure and labeled correctly.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in multi-temperature environments, with safety as a priority. Responsibilities include moving pallets, inspecting for damage, and assisting with related duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, lift repeatedly and move 10–35 lb items, up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to be shipped into trailers using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Wrap pallets, secure loads, and ensure shipping labels are in place.
• Place loads in trailer slots, secure, and manage pallet movement safely.
• Remove empty pallets and packing materials to proper areas.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety policies.
