Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a motivated Rail Loading Technician to join our warehouse team. You will operate forklifts to load products onto trailers and rail cars, ensuring timely shipments and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting inventory, processing bills of lading, and performing cycle counts. Candidates should have 2–3 years in manufacturing/warehouse work and be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a hot or cold environment with PPE.

CertainTeed is seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Rail Loading Technician to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will operate mobile equipment to load products onto trucks and rail cars, ensuring timely and accurate shipments. You’ll also coordinate with other warehouse technicians to meet key performance goals and uphold our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: 2–3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication and mechanical aptitude

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with safety programs and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems

Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

Understanding of quality and board specifications

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and work at heights

Comfortable working in hot/cold environments and wearing PPE

Frequent use of computers, power tools, and large machinery
