Job summary

PSC Group seeks a Logistics Technician to support rail loading and switching operations. You’ll inspect railcars, connect hoses for product transfer, and document the process. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-site presence on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available. A valid Driver's license may be required, and candidates must pass screenings and PPE requirements. Military experience is a plus for procedural discipline.

Qualifications

• English fluency required for reading, writing and speaking.
• May require a valid driver's license depending on location.
• Pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams as needed.
• Military experience is a plus and helps with procedures.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and visually inspect railcars before loading to ensure mechanical soundness.
• Connect or disconnect loading arm hose for product transfer and complete paperwork.
• Inspect for leaks, weigh railcars, and ensure proper documentation.
• Plan railcar spotting and loading using track lists.
• Operate track mobile or locomotive to move railcars safely as needed.
• Communicate with rail team, leadership, and customer contacts.
• Perform other duties as assigned to complete the job.
