Job summary

PSC Group is hiring for a full-time Rail Loader - Switching Technician in a logistics role focused on safe railcar loading and switching operations. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, connecting loading hoses, weighing railcars, and documenting transfers.

The position requires fluency in English, valid driver's license in some locations, and the ability to pass drug, medical, and background checks. A strict on-site schedule and PPE procedures are part of daily work.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; paid on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver's License depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass medical exams as needed.
• Speak, write, read fluent English; regular on-site attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Loader duties: inspect railcars, connect/disconnect loading hoses, weigh cars and complete paperwork.
• Rail switching duties: plan railcar movements, operate track mobile or locomotive, coordinate with team and customer contacts.
