Job summary

RINA is seeking a Construction Scheduler to support the Transforming Rail in Virginia (TRV) program, working with CSX Transportation from the Alexandria, VA area. The role focuses on reviewing contractor schedules, creating and updating as-built schedules, and delivering timely program reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CPM scheduling experience, Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management or equivalent.
• ,
• 5+ years scheduling and time impact analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Review designer and contractor schedules for conformance to contract and client requirements and industry standard best practices.
• Coordinate with project staff to ensure accuracy of schedule updates and objective performance measurement.
• Develop and maintain resource and cost-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for projects and master-program level schedules.
• Develop program-level reporting templates and contribute to project and program reporting with timely data updates.
• Review contractor requests for time extensions and perform what-if schedule and budget analyses.
• Support change management in resolving outstanding changes and claims.
