Job summary

RINA North America in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Construction Scheduler to manage review of contractor schedules, develop and maintain CPM schedules in Primavera P6, and contribute to program reporting for the Transforming Rail in Virginia project with CSX Transportation. The role requires 5+ years of scheduling experience and strong CPM expertise.

The position is based in Alexandria, VA, with emphasis on adherence to contract requirements, accurate data updates, and effective communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling and time impact analysis experience.
• Infrastructure experience; rail or transit preferred.
• Experience with document control and PMIS systems.
• Extensive CPM scheduling experience and CPM schedule reviews.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and advanced schedule-analysis tools.
• Experience on state and federally funded projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review designer and contractor schedules for conformance to contract and client requirements.
• Prepare written technical reports summarizing findings.
• Coordinate with project staff to ensure accuracy of schedule updates.
• Develop and maintain resource- and cost-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6.
• Develop program-level reporting templates and contribute to project reporting.
• Review and analyze contractor time-extension requests.
• Perform “what-if” schedule and budget scenarios.
• Support change management personnel in resolving changes and claims.
• Other duties as assigned.
