Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Orlando, Florida seeks an HVAC Service Rail Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems on passenger rail coaches and locomotives, ensuring reliable performance and passenger comfort.

You will work independently and with engineering teams, drawing on technical HVAC education, EPA certification, and hands-on experience; you will help support fleet availability and safe rail operations in varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Technical education in HVAC / Refrigeration.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on HVAC experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues daily using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace defective components and braze copper piping as needed.
• Vacuum and pressurize HVAC units with Nitrogen per procedures and safety standards.
• Recover and handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations.
