Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Orlando, FL seeks an HVAC Service Rail Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems on passenger rail coaches and locomotives. You will work both independently and with engineering teams to support fleet availability, reliability, and safe rail operations.

Candidates should have HVAC / Refrigeration technical education, EPA Universal certification, and at least 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience including service, diagnostics, repairs, and installations,

Qualifications

• Technical education in HVAC / Refrigeration.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience including service, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and system installations.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC systems daily using diagnostic tools, sensors, and leak detectors.
• Replace defective components and braze copper piping as needed.
• Vacuum and pressurize HVAC units using nitrogen per procedures and safety standards.
• Recover and handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations.
