Job summary

CapMetro is seeking a Specialist, Rail Fleet Training & Compliance to develop, deliver, and track training for the rail vehicle maintenance workforce. You will ensure FRA-mandated training and qualifications are current and audit-ready, serving as the primary contact for training and compliance within Rail Fleet Services.

The role involves coordinating with maintenance teams, tracking certifications, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Six years of experience in training program development, compliance, or related rail/maintenance field.
• Experience with FRA-regulated training and certification requirements preferred.
• Curriculum development and competency assessment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and track rail vehicle maintenance training and compliance programs.
• Maintain audit-ready training records for FRA, agency, and CapMetro requirements.
• Coordinate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training across shifts and locations.
• Prepare for FRA and agency audits; track corrective actions and renewals.
