CapMetro is seeking a Transportation Shift Supervisor to oversee Engineers and Conductors on an assigned shift, ensuring safe operations and compliant crew staffing. The role requires cross‑training to balance floor supervision with crew calling duties during peak times.

You will supervise, coach, and discipline staff as needed, maintain shift logs, and coordinate with the OCC for service alignment. This onsite role demands strong leadership and knowledge of FRA regulations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's in Transportation, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily activities of Engineers and Conductors on assigned shift, ensure proper staffing for safe rail operations.
• Build and manage crew board, call crews within hours‑of‑service windows, manage extra board.
• Ensure compliance with FRA requirements, hours of service, and other regulations; document logs and actions.
• Provide coaching and discipline as needed; escalate incidents to Supervisor, Rail Transportation.
• Coordinate with OCC to align crew availability with train movements.
