Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is seeking a Field Service Supervisor with rail experience to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This role focuses on safe operation of equipment, driving efficiencies at the site, and timely documentation of job activities.

The position requires attending a two-week paid Academy training (which may be out of state), and offers health benefits after 30 days, 401K with company match, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Rail experience required.
• Experience in environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry.
• Willing to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month.
• On-call for emergency response situations.
• Valid Driver's license and ability to meet position requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Read work orders and ensure equipment is available and operational before starting jobs.
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to starting any job.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as required.
• Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure HPC safety policies are followed.
• Instruct and direct crew to complete work per client requirements and company procedures.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
