ZTR Control Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support major U.S. customers, based in East St. Louis, IL, or North Little Rock, AR.

You will be the on-site technical representative, performing hands-on troubleshooting, system commissioning, and customer training while collaborating with internal teams. The role requires PLC expertise, robust electrical troubleshooting, and travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• . Diploma or PE/licensed electrician required.
• . Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical and locomotive control systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support ZTR control systems using PLC knowledge.
• Perform on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of ZTR equipment.
• Provide technical training to customers on-site.
• Collaborate with and support the sales team as required.
• Participate in project coordination and project management activities as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 15%–30%).
• After hours on-call support for local emergency troubleshooting.
