Job summary

ZTR LLC in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer – Electrical to join our support team. You will troubleshoot PLC-based solutions, configure and commission equipment at customer sites, and provide on-site technical training.

The role requires two years plus of electrical engineering experience, PLC familiarity, strong communication, and ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. You will report to the Technical Service Manager in London, Ontario.

Qualifications

Two year or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering degree.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
Experienced with PLCs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for a variety of audiences.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to customer sites for on-site commissioning and/or installation of ZTR equipment.

Responsibilities

Program, configure and troubleshoot ZTR locomotive operation, products, and solutions.
Provide excellent Customer Service and Support in both field and telephone support.
Travel to customer sites for commissioning & installation of ZTR equipment.
Provide on-site technical training and presentations to customers.
Perform sales support and project management tasks as assigned.
