The role requires 5+ years as an Electrical Engineer, 2+ years in field service, and strong PLC/industrial protocol knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control or Electronics.
5+ years as Electrical Engineer supporting products.
2+ years of field service experience.
Proficient with PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell) and industrial protocols.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Experience across all phases of the development life cycle.
Knowledgeable in sensor/actuator selection and system integration.

Responsibilities

Provide top-tier engineering support to customers through troubleshooting or addressing design challenges.
Lead the design and implementation of product life cycle & roadmap activities.
Select and validate suitable sensors, actuators and electronic components for system integration.
Identify and drive product improvements including developing new algorithms and addressing obsolescence.
Develop, maintain and optimize technical and project processes using JIRA, Confluence, Word, etc.
Support on-site control system and locomotive commissioning at globally located rail yards.
