Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Account Manager, Rail and Environmental to lead environmental services for a major freight rail client in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering or related.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing environmental programs for transportation, freight rail, or infrastructure clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing strategic accounts, forecasting, business risks, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary account manager and client-facing lead for environmental services.
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support growth of the account and WSP’s strategic freight rail program within Earth & Environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client stakeholders, project sponsors, and operational leaders.
• Develop account growth strategies and manage forecasting and financial performance while aligning with client expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of environmental and engineering professionals.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company and client standards, project requirements, regulatory requirements, and WSP quality processes.
• Partner with Project Controls to monitor schedules, forecasts, earned value, and safety metrics.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level account updates, performance reviews, and strategic client presentations.
• Mentor project managers, coordinators, and staff while promoting safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support proposal development, strategic account planning, and business development for rail accounts.
