Job summary

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is seeking a Rail Dispatcher to support real-time coordination of rail transportation. You will communicate instructions, track service conditions, and maintain dispatch records under established procedures.

Work closely with operators, field supervisors, and other transit staff to ensure safe, reliable service and proper handling of delays and incidents. Responsibilities include issuing routine instructions, confirming read-backs, and logging events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in rail operations or related real-time environment.
• Ability to learn dispatch procedures and safety protocols.
