Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Construction Engineer III to support California High-Speed Rail data analytics and reporting from Sacramento, Bakersfield, or Fresno. The role is on-site and requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years of experience, focused on data systems, dashboards, and QA/QC.

You will help develop dashboards, track KPIs, and ensure data-driven decision making across construction, project controls, and program management teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with data systems, reporting tools, or engineering/project databases.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, validation, and analysis for program delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to track KPIs and project metrics.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present engineering and program data clearly.
• Assist with integration and management of data across enterprise systems and platforms.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and program teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and data gaps.
