AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer, Communications, for offices in Sacramento, Fresno, or Bakersfield, CA. This is an on-site role with travel of 25–50% along the alignment and a focus on railway communications, IP/MPLS networks, and control system integration.

Required BA/BS + 6 years of experience; PE licensure preferred. You will develop engineering deliverables, coordinate interfaces, and ensure regulatory and program compliance on a major transportation project.

Formación

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and approve communications engineering deliverables throughout design, construction, and testing
• Coordinate interfaces between communications, signaling, and IT teams
• Support requirements management, system architecture development, and interface definition
• Review supplier/contractor designs for program compliance
• Coordinate FCC licensing and frequency coordination activities
• Develop and review test plans, procedures, and commissioning strategies for communications systems
• Support system certification, regulatory approvals, and revenue service handover
