AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer, Signaling and Train Control, for our Sacramento office. This on-site role provides engineering leadership for railway signaling and train control systems on a major transportation program, covering ETCS Level 2, interlocks, and related safety-critical interfaces.

Requirements include a BA/BS in Electrical or Systems Engineering and at least six years of relevant experience; PE licensure or IRSE membership is preferred. Travel up to 25–50% may be required.

Formación

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Experience taking signaling systems from design through testing and final acceptance.
• Experience with CBTC, PTC, ATP, or ATO systems and high‑speed rail requirements.
• Strong technical writing, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and approve signaling engineering deliverables across design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop and review test plans, procedures, and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate interfaces between signaling, telecom, rolling stock, track, and power teams.
• Support regulatory submissions, safety cases, and independent assessments.
