Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Experience with bulk formulation or filling; aseptic technique preferred.
• 4 years related pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Experience with cGMP preferred.
• Aptitude for supervisory skills.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve customer/employee problems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Promotes teamwork within manufacturing location and region.
• Ability to manage weight up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts/schedules; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Manufacturing staff and oversees daily activities, and production schedules as it pertains to those delivery systems.
• Trains, coaches, mentors, develops, and provides direction to staff.
• Conducts performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Responsible for Equipment and Facilities sustainment; scheduling, routine maintenance and break/fix operations.
• Works with EHS and RSO to adhere to Radiation Safety Program.
• Ensures attainment of budget objectives through effective financial management.
• Maintains positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and corporate contacts.
• Ensures internal quality and regulatory standards are maintained.
• Oversees safety for all employees and facility security.
• Prepares reports and analysis for management and customers.
• Ensures high quality products and services; resolves complaints.
• Participates in staff meetings and training activities.
• Operates under GMP, regulated by state/federal agencies.
