Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Sciences program is required.
• ARRT (Radiography) registration is required.
• New graduates must be ARRT registered within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Assess patient and review orders or charts before procedures.
• Prepare patients and address questions, referring to radiologist as needed.
• Minimize patient discomfort and ensure privacy during exams.
• Record exam times in RIS for timely radiologist access.
• Maintain safe environment, following radiation protection and universal precautions.
• Adhere to shielding and dosimeter usage as required.
• Monitor exam timeliness and quality of care per dept goals.
• QA exams with correct order, annotation, laterality, and presentation state.
• Submit work orders when equipment is down.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
