Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH seeks an Administrative/Clerical professional to coordinate daily radiology workflow and support IT systems that move imaging studies efficiently.

You will troubleshoot image transfers, provide Help Desk support, and prepare quality reports while communicating with radiologists, providers, and contracted facilities to uphold ACR guidelines and contract commitments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; two years in an office/customer service environment.
• Excellent spelling and typing skills.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with a broad spectrum of professionals including physicians, nurses, technologists and administrative staff.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
• Ability to independently prioritize and re-prioritize time-sensitive workload.
• Knowledge of word processing and ability to quickly learn new IT systems.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate real-time radiology workflow among radiologists, providers and facilities.
• Troubleshoot image movement issues between facilities using IT systems.
• Perform Help Desk functions for IT-related issues within the department.
• Facilitate clinical communication to meet clinical practice and ACR guidelines.
• Coordinate timely protocoling of exams from contracted facilities.
• Create and disseminate quality and performance reports for multiple organizations.
• Benchmark and report departmental performance against contracts.
• All other duties as assigned.
