Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, seeks a full-time Patient Transporter for the Radiology department. You will escort patients and visitors, coordinate through paging/phone systems, and assist clinical staff with transfers in a 36-hour weekly schedule (Fri–Sun 7p–7a) with holiday rotation.

A sign-on bonus may be available based on eligibility. Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program with registry eligibility within 1 year and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients, guests, and visitors to destinations.
• Uses hospital paging and telephone systems for transport coordination.
• Assists nursing and clinical staff with patient transfers from bed to transport equipment.
• Transports and orients patients to their rooms or departments.
• Verifies outpatient registrations and transports to appropriate areas.
• Retrieves, cleans, and stores transport equipment.
