Lifepoint Health is seeking a Radiology Transporter at Rutherford Regional Health System in North Carolina. The PRN transporter safely moves patients to and from the OR, PACU, and outpatient areas, using wheelchairs or beds, and supports OR turnover and interdepartmental coordination.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification; CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds and operate/move equipment and supplies safely.
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range; ability to reach overhead, sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and support staff.
• Ability to remain calm, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively in fast-paced or stressful perioperative environments.

Responsabilidades

• Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Outpatient Services, and other designated areas throughout the facility.
• Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, including those requiring oxygen, IV pumps, monitors, and other specialized equipment
• Assist in operating room turnover by cleaning between cases, moving equipment, and restocking supplies
• Communicate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, nursing, and support staff to coordinate patient movement and room readiness.
• Follow strict infection control, safety, patient privacy, and hospital protocols during all transport and room turnover activities.
• Deliver specimens, equipment, and supplies to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
• Observe and report patient concerns, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
