Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking a Radiology Technologist to assist physicians and the RN in charge with patient care and radiologic imaging. You will operate x-ray and CT equipment, produce quality images, and ensure timely upload for reads and interpretations.

Requirements include an AS/RS Radiology degree, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and a Texas Radiology license. Prior hospital or ER experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent with diploma/certification from accredited school of Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Current license from the Texas Department of State Health Service for Radiology Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive patient care under the direction of the nurse in charge and physician.
• Performs height/weight, vital signs, IV initiations, blood draws, and documentation.
• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs and CT scans.
• Produces quality images and uploads for radiology reads/interpretations.
• Reports lab and radiology results to nurse/physician.
• Assists with assessments, examinations, and treatment.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and positions patients for diagnostic exams.
