Ally Medical ER is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support physicians and the RN in providing high-quality patient care. The role includes performing X-ray and CT imaging, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The candidate must hold ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and a Texas radiology license, with at least two years of hospital or ER experience. The job emphasizes safety, image quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Texas State license for Radiology Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to patients under the supervision of the nurse in charge or physician.
• Performs patient skills such as height/weight, vital signs, IV starts, blood draws, documenting as needed.
• Performs diagnostic testing using x-ray/CT equipment per protocol.
• Produces quality images and uploads for radiology reads/interpretations.
• Applies proper techniques during diagnostic testing with radiology equipment and labs.
• Reports lab and radiology results to nurse/physician immediately.
• Assists physicians with assessments, examinations and treatment.
• Assists with crutch walking, dressing changes, and splint/cast applications.
