Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking a Radiology Technologist to assist physicians and the RN in charge with patient care. You will operate x-ray and CT equipment, produce diagnostic images, and ensure timely reporting to the care team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and a Texas license, with at least two years of hospital or ER experience. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
• Ability to learn QC studies and to operate radiologic equipment and recordkeeping software.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to patients under the direction of the RN in charge and/or physician.
• Performs patient measurements, vital signs, IV initiations, blood draws, and documentation to assist the care team.
• Performs diagnostic testing using x-ray and CT equipment per protocol.
• Produces quality radiographic images and uploads for reads/interpretations.
• Applies proper techniques during radiology and lab procedures.
• Reports lab and radiology results to RN and/or physician.
• Assists RN and physicians with assessments, examinations and treatment.
• Performs other duties such as crutch walking, dressing changes, and splint/cast assistance.
