Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking a Radiology Technologist to assist physicians and the in-charge RN with patient care and perform radiographic procedures.

You will operate (x-ray) and CT equipment, ensure high-quality images, and upload studies for interpretation, while applying proper safety and protocol.

Require ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, Texas Radiology Technologist license, and at least 2 years’ hospital or ER experience; expect standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent with diploma/certification from accredited school of Radiology Technologist.
• At least two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or emergency room setting.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Current license from the Texas Department of State Health Service for Radiology Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician and in-charge RN with basic patient care under supervision.
• Performs patient skills such as measuring height/weight, vitals, IV starts, blood draws, and documentation.
• Performs diagnostic testing using x-ray/CT per physician orders.
• Produces quality radiographs and uploads images for reads/interpretations.
• Applies proper techniques and practices during radiology testing.
• Reports lab and radiology results to RN/physician.
• Assists with assessments, examinations and treatment.
• Assists with crutch walking, dressing changes and splint/cast application.
