Advocate Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures in our Sheboygan County Radiology department. You will communicate with patients, position them for imaging, and ensure safety and accuracy of examinations.

You will maintain patient records, coordinate with radiologists, and handle imaging data in the radiology information system, with on-the-job training provided for CT.

Qualificações

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No prior experience required for the role.
• Must hold Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT RT registration.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain clinical history, and address questions.
• Position patients and select exposure factors, ensuring radiation safety and shielding.
• Identify patients and label images, verify exam accuracy and process images for quality.
• Communicate and consult with Radiologists as needed.
• Enter patient data into the radiology information system and document billing codes.
• Assist with patient positioning and transporting; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Deliver age-appropriate care and apply department policies.
