Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Part-time CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic procedures at Summit Hospital and related clinics. The role includes patient history review, image optimization, contrast administration under physician direction, and strict adherence to radiation safety.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years CT experience, a Wisconsin Radiographer license, ARRT CT registration, and BLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and radiation safety.
• Proficient in IV and venipuncture.
• Two years CT Technologist experience typically required.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT CT registration and BLS certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures.
• Position patients and ensure correct scanning factors with radiation safety protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintain radiology info system records and document billing codes.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for staff and students.
