Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for the Manitowoc County Radiology department. The role involves casual scheduling with 32 hours per month, one weekend per month, and one holiday per year if needed.

Opportunity to cross-train to CT, with focus on accurate imaging and patient care. The position requires Wisconsin radiographer licensure, ARRT RT registration, and BLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin and ARRT RT registration.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Explain procedures and obtain clinical history from patients.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with proper radiation protection.
• Identify and label images; ensure exam accuracy and accurate patient charges.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists.
• Document procedures and enter data into RIS; record billing codes.
