Qualifications

• Specialized ARRT certification or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED with ARRT certification.
• Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Interacts with staff and patients while upholding Jefferson values.
• Positions radiographic equipment to obtain detailed images for diagnosis.
• Explains procedures to patients and gathers relevant medical history.
• Ensures radiation safety measures and uses shields as required.
• Adheres to radiology regulations, standards and clinical protocols.
• Maintains and tests x-ray equipment and documents results.
• Keeps patient and study information accurate and confidential.
• Performs additional technologist duties as assigned by lead technologist or manager.
