Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray scans and support physicians in diagnosing conditions. You will deliver patient care and education before, during, and after imaging, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.

You will position equipment, explain procedures to patients, maintain equipment and patient records in RIS/PACS, and participate in continuing education to retain ARRT certification and licensure.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist or eligible for ARRT certification.
• Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS workflow.
• BLS and AHA certifications required.

Aufgaben

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Apply radiation safety practices and use shielding.
• Maintain x-ray equipment and document quality checks.
• Maintain patient records in RIS/PACS and ensure confidentiality.
• Pursue continuing education to maintain licenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
