Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or ARRT-approved program.
• Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS.
• BLS – Basic Life Support and AHA – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff.
• Appropriately positions radiographic equipment or x-ray film to produce images.
• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains relevant history.
• Communicates effectively with the patient.
• Maintains radiation safety for patient and staff.
