Job summary

Must hold ARRT certification (or a diploma with ARRT) and BLS. Travel between Jefferson locations may be required; lift requirements and patient care responsibilities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• ARRT-credential through an approved program, or a high school diploma/GED with ARRT certification.
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain images with sufficient detail for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant history for each exam.
• Ensure patient protection and radiation safety per standards; monitor shielding and exposure.
• Maintain equipment and document maintenance; ensure RIS/PACS accuracy for patient records.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the lead technologist or manager.
