Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray scans and assist physicians in diagnosis. The role requires Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts, plus an 8-hour shift on either Monday or Friday, with incentives for weekend work.

The technologist will follow radiation safety standards, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate patient records for RIS/PACS billing. ARRT certification and state licensure are required or preferred as indicated.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
• ARRT (R), (CT) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Positions radiographic equipment or x-ray film to produce images with necessary detail or contrast to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains complete history relevant to the examination.
