Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology exams, operate equipment, and ensure high-quality images while minimizing patient dose. You will work with a team of caregivers in a world-class setting and participate in scheduling, documentation, and patient education.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT RT(R) in good standing, active state licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT RT(R) credential in good standing and state licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and speed.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.
• Maintain documentation and report malfunctions to the help desk.
• Assist with scheduling, monitor patient priority and handle billing.
