Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Diagnostic Imaging. You will perform radiographic procedures under licensed supervision, ensuring safety and high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, state licensure if required, and an associate degree in radiologic technology. Includes benefits, sign-on bonus and ongoing education support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (ARRT accredited preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required).
• State licensure (preferred if required by state).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred before independent patient care).

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and lab work, documents for licensed practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to optimize imaging.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Operates radiographic equipment and accessories for procedures.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures.
