Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. This on-site role supports general radiology, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-registered, hold a state radiology license, and possess BLS certification. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a weekday schedule, with a collaborative, patient-centered work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
